Walpole St Andrew runner Matt Pyatt ran for England Masters in the Home Nations Cross Country International in Santry Park, Dublin, Ireland against teams from Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Pyatt, who leading up to the event had been suffering from shin splints, finished 66th overall in a time of 29-23 over the 8k course which can only be described as complete mudbath.

He was the fifth Englishman in his age group, helping his team to second in the M35 category.
