Walpole St Andrew runner Pyatt bags best GEAR finish


Last Sunday in conditions that can only be described as ‘appalling’, Walpole St Andrew runner Matt Pyatt on his 38th birthday still managed to have a successful ‘GEAR’ race with his best ever finishing position and time for the 10k race held for the 10th time in King’s Lynn.

Out of the 1,881 finishers Matt came ninth overall in a time of 33 minutes and 56 seconds and for the second year running won the Duncan Gooderson Trophy awarded to the first local runner from BCKLWN area.

He also helped his club Ryston Runners win the men’s team prize.
