Late goals send Wimblington to defeat against league leaders
In our featured game this week,Wimblington were beaten 4-2 at home to leaders Exning United in the Cambridgeshire County League Kershaw 2B.
Liam Brady with his 12th goal of the season and Nick Ward were on target for Wimblington, but two late goals saw Exning claim the victory.
In the same division, Chatteris Town Reserves drew 2-2 draw at Fordham Reserves, Wayne Bostock getting both Lilies goals to take his tally to six for the season.
March Town United A are now seven points clear at the top of Kershaw 1B after beating title rivals Buckden 4-3. The Hares made an awful start and were 2-0 down after just three minutes, before playing their best football of the season to lead 3-2 at the break, James Monaghan, Karl Anderson and Alfie Richardson scoring.
A second half penalty brought Buckden back into the game but a 25 yard screamer from sub Stu Walker won the game for March late on.
Fourteen points behind March but with five games in hand are Chatteris Town, who were held 2-2 at home by Hemingfords United Reserves. Sam Bond with his 14th of the season and Martin Saunders with his sixth were the Lilies scorers.

In Kershaw 3C, Manea United's promotion hopes were dented after a 6-1 home defeat by Houghton & Wyton Reserves, Brandon Rimmer on target for United.
AFC Walpole Reserves are now top of Kershaw 4C after beating Chatteris Town A 5-1, with goals coming from Ant Matos with his 14th of the season, Ben Garner, Micah-Joe Baxter, Louis Hite and Robbie Knight. Charlie Munns was on target for Chatteris.
Benwick Athletic Reserves are up to second after beating Guyhirn Reserves 6-3, but March Academy Reserves stay bottom of the table after an 8-0 thrashing at Mepal Sports.
In the ChromaSport Peterborough & District League Premier Division, Leverington Sports were beaten 3-1 at Wittering Premiair and Long Sutton Athletic went down 5-0 at high flying Stilton United. Louie Garner got Sports' goal.
In Division One, Wisbech Town Reserves drew 0-0 at home to Eunice Huntingdon, while in Division Two Long Sutton Athletic Reserves went down 4-0 at Wittering Premiair Reserves.
Tydd Reserves lost 4-2 at home to Park Farm Pumas in Division Three, Jordi Henson and Carlos Costa scoring.
In Division Three of the MG Building Maintenance North West Norfolk League, Upwell Town Reserves were beaten 7-3 at Ingoldisthorpe Reserves, Tyler Akred and subs Reece Ashman and Kacper Bembenek netting for Town.
Marshland Saints Reserves beat Docking Rangers Development 5-4 in the first round of the Division Three League Cup, having trailed 3-2 at the break.
