Wimblington lost a close game at promotion-chasing March 3rds in CCA Junior League Division 3N.

March made 167 all out, Manuj Patel 56 no, with Jason Bullman taking 4-37. Bullman looked like changing the game with a quickfire 45 at the end of the innings. He was the final wicket to fall as Wimblington ended on 142 all out.

Wimblington II bowled out Histon III for just 75 at Parkfield. Veteran Paul King was the pick of the bowlers with 5-32. Wimblington reached the target for the loss of four wickets.

The Sunday side saw their final game of the season at Chatteris abandoned after the home side had posted 136-6 off a rain-reduced 28 overs.

The Saturday sides finish their season this weekend with the first team travelling to Willingham, whilst the seconds play the reverse fixture at Histon.
