Saints beat in-form King's Lynn Town Res in Easter Monday derby

With their management team committing themselves to the 2019/20 season, Wisbech St Mary beat in-form King's Lynn Town Res as the Saints bid to end the campaign strongly.

It gave St Mary just their eighth win of the season following their Easter Monday derby, which guarantees they will not finish bottom of the table.

The result leaves Mel Mattless's troops six points ahead of basement side Felixstowe & Walton United Reserves with one game remaining for both teams.

Wisbech St Mary end the season at home to Fakenham Town, who themselves can finish anywhere between fourth and seventh, on Saturday.

And the club have confirmed that the management team of Mattless, Roy Brand and Peter Chilton have committed themselves to Wisbech St Mary FC for the 2019/20 season.

Toby Allen replied for the Hares on Saturday at the leaders, who completed their season.
