The Fenmen mounted an Evo Stik Northern Premier League East Division comeback from 2-0 down early doors on Tuesday at the Elgood's Fenland Stadium.

The visitors were two goals head on 16 minutes via Tom Garrick and Matt Wilson.

However Gary Setchell's troops replied after 38 minutes through a chip by Aaron Hart, who also scored their first goal of the season.

On 85 minutes striker Ryan Harnwell was fouled in the away area and captain Adam Millson converted the penalty. Wisbech are in 16th position.

Making his debut for Wisbech was seasoned defender Sam Gaughran.

The ex-Peterborough, Lowestoft and King’s Lynn centre half was until last weekend assistant manager at The Walks before Lynn boss Simon Clark and his management team were axed after a poor start to the campaign.

The move was timely as Beckham Kennelly faces six weeks on the sidelines with a ligament injury.
