Wisbech Town coach Dan Dobson is refusing to take Saturday’s United Counties League trip to struggling Wellingborough lightly.

The Fenmen travel to Northamptonshire looking to build on an unbeaten run of two games following Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Yaxley.

Dobson said: “Wellingborough are struggling at the wrong end of the table, but as it proved against Huntingdon, who hadn’t won a game, you can’t go into the game thinking it will be easy.

“You have to take every side in this league seriously as every team in the league is capable of producing a shock.

“We will go to Wellingborough looking to put right what we didn’t do well in the first half on Saturday against Yaxley.

“The whole game on Saturday was tricky because of the wind, but when you are 1-0 down at half-time you’d end up taking a draw. We were much brighter in the second half and kept the ball a lot better.”
