The Vikings invaded Flag Fen for the second year running keeping hundreds of visitors entertained during the heatwave.
Flag Fen is hosting a weekend of special events highlighting life in Saxon England and the Viking invasions with demonstrations, living camps and battle scenes - following the success of a similar event last year.
Visitors can watch a full-scale battle between warriors (maybe even have a go yourself!), and visit Viking and Saxon living history camps to experience life a thousand years ago, plus there will be plenty of fun family activities throughout tomorrow (Sunday, July 7).
Hundreds of people flocked to see today’s events and more are expected tomorrow.
The timetable will be:
