Wisbech special school is celebrating 50th with jam-packed summer fayre

A special school is celebrating its 50th birthday in style this weekend (June 22) with a summer fayre full of fun.

Meadowgate Academy in Wisbech is hosting the fayre, which is organised by the friends of the school, from 11am to 3pm.

There will be a host of stalls as well as food vans.

Attractions include fair rides and games, face painting, bouncy castles, as well as a car boot. Car booters still have time to book a pitch for £10 by emailing meadowgatefriends@gmail.com.

Councillor Sidney Imafidon, Mayor of Wisbech, will be joining the crowds on the day.

Pupils have been busily making items for stalls on the day.
