EPD Insulation Group hosting free Big Bash V event at Manor Leisure Centre in Whittlesey with flypast, music, vehicle display, and much more




An action-packed day is coming to town with something for the whole family – and it is free.

The EPD Insulation Group’s Big Bash V is coming to Manor Leisure Centre in Whittlesey on Sunday from 11am-6.30pm.

This free full family day includes something for everybody, with music from Sarah Carr Arts Music and Performance, Vault Academy, Young Tech/Limelight Academy, DJ. L.I.am, DJ Chris Osler, Eye 2 Eye Acoustic, and to finish the day, Viral Peach, the UK's No 1 Cigar Box Guitar Band.

There will be more than 300 classic vehicles, taster sports including rifle shooting, archery, fishing and lots more, four inflatables, and a scooter competition.

The High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire Awards and Whittlesey Citizen of the Year awards will also take place.

There will be a sensory space, a family disco, and The Big Bash 60 plus Slurp, and at 1.29pm a double flypast of a Hurricane and Spitfire.

The bash will not only welcome the High Sheriff, The Hon Frances Stanley DL, but also the Mayor of Whittlesey, Cllr Alex Miscandlon, Young VIP of the Day competition winner Emma Rudd, and multi-paralympian rifle shooter Matt Shelhon.

Big Bash V is part of Big Bash week from yesterday (Monday) until Sunday, which includes 20 voluntary local community group activities that showcase the town.
