Denver murder talk at next Fenland Family History Society meeting




The next meeting of the Fenland Family History Society is at Wisbech Library on Thursday, January 22, 7pm-9pm, when Susanah Farmer will give a talk entitled ‘A Murder in Denver’.

Monthly meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month except December and August. Visitors are always welcome with a donation of at least £2 to help pay for the hire of the hall.

Research sessions are held on the first Tuesday of the month, from 10am to noon at Wisbech Library, with a donation encouraged. Researchers give their time for free.

They are also held on the second Monday of the month at Baytree Garden Centre restaurant in Hilgay, from 11am to 2.30pm.

They are also held every other month in the Red Lion pub on Wisbech’s North Brink, with the next on November 17, 6.30pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome to any sessions, no matter where your family originated

Speakers are also available to attend groups and clubs to give talks, which are very amusing as well as informative.
