Wisbech St Mary school’s fireworks display promises to be bigger and better than ever





One of the area’s biggest and best fireworks displays is set to return this weekend.

Wisbech St Mary Academy is inviting the community to join them on Saturday (4) for their annual spectacular and they are promising it will be bigger and better than ever.

This year is their 44th year and organisers are planning an extra special night with a bonfire, music, fun, food, and of course fireworks.

Over two displays 1,605 Fireworks will light up the sky with £4,500 of pyrotechnic magic! The displays will take place at 6.15pm and 7.30pm.

The event opens at 5.15pm with the bonfire lighting at 5.30pm. There will also be many stalls including a raffle, tombolas, refreshments, neons, and food stalls.

There will also be a disco, children's rides, a sparkler area, and much more!

The event is organised and run by the school’s fabulous team of Parents, Teachers and Friends, with all money raised being donated to the school.

Tickets are £7 for adults and £5 for children (3 to 16) - under threes go free.

Tickets bought online via ticket course give access through the express gate on Churchfield Way.

Tickets can also be bought on the gate subject to availability.
