A retired Chatteris couple have notched up more than 100 holidays with a single travel firm – establishing them amongst the company’s most loyal customers.
Cliff and Jen Munns took their first break with Grand UK Holidays in 1985, when the over-55s specialist operator was just over a year old.
Now, 31 years later, they have taken more than 100 UK coach touring holidays with Grand UK and feel as if they are “part of the family”. The couple have even featured twice in the company’s inhouse newspaper, The UK Gazette – most recently after attending the 2016 Reunion Holiday on Hayling Island.
They enjoy catching up with company founder Paul Bennett at the reunions to talk about agriculture and cattle farming, as Mr Munns’ nephew farms 1,000 acres in Chatteris and breeds 1,500 geese a year for Christmas.
