Chatteris to honour brave service people

Chatteris Royal British Legion’s Annual Honour Walk takes place this Saturday.
This year it will leave from the Sportsman, in Fairway.
The event opens at 2pm and the walkers will start out at 2.30pm, taking between 45 minutes and an hour.
Meanwhile – on the field there will be stalls, a barbecue and refreshments, bouncy castles and games.

Proceeds from the event go to the Chatteris Poppy Appeal.
Last year a total of 35 walkers took part and through their sponsorship and the support stalls, around £1,000 was raised.
