A bridge which has become a hotspot for crashes has been struck again.

The driver of the van sustained no injuries in the crash.

A Network Rail spokesperson said: “Our teams were immediately dispatched to inspect the bridge, and no structural damage was found, allowing train services to safely resume shortly.

“Bridge strikes like this cost taxpayers millions of pounds every year and are entirely avoidable.”
