A winter feel will be coming to Wisbech for Christmas specials.
Father Christmas will be stopping off in the town on Sunday, November 29, for the official switch-on of the Christmas lights.
Wisbech Town Council spent £30,000 last year on improving the lights and is raising money to replace this investment.
Live entertainment, fairground rides and free mince pies will be on offer during the event, which runs from 3pm to 6pm with the big switch-on at 5pm.
Santa Claus and two of his reindeers will be at the town’s Christmas Fayre on Sunday, December 13.
For the first time, an ice-rink will be set up and the event will be spread over The Crescent, Museum Square, The Castle, along with the Market Place and Horsefair Shopping Centre.
But before the festive season gets into full swing, the ever-popular Halloween Fun Day will be held on Saturday, October 31.
Youngsters will be able to take part in a trick or treat event with around 60 local businesses, which runs from 3pm to 5pm.
Attractions include a fancy dress competition at 4pm, spider mountain, balloon modelling, fairground rides.
The event will also include displays of owls and creepy creatures from Fantasia Reptile Emporium.
There will also be three bike-based activities with cycle sprints, a smoothie bike and a pedal-powered Jukebox.
A disco and bouncy castle are going to be set up on the Market Place.
