The latest major fundraiser for the Chloe’s Dream appeal is taking place on May 24.
A ball has been organised by John Fleet, which will take place at Marshland High School in West Walton from 7pm.
John hopes the event will raise a massive £10,000 for Chloe Chaplin, a Wisbech schoolgirl who is battling leukaemia.
A group of fundraisers have got together to raise money so Chloe and her family can go on a dream trip to Disney World in Florida after her treatment is over.
Over £5,000 has already been raised, with generous Fenland people really getting behind the appeal.
John already knew Chloe and her family through trampolining club Fenland Flyers. Her sister Holly has been a member for years and Chloe had just started attending when she was diagnosed.
The entire club is behind the ball and has been pitching in to help. Everything so far has been donated, from the food to the music, so every penny raised can go to Chloe.
Tickets for the ball are £30 each and include a three-course meal and music from band Rapture. Tickets are available from the Spar in Emneth or directly from John on 01945-474980 or 07768-117961.
