The UK's biggest ever lottery jackpot is up for grabs tonight.

If one lucky UK-based ticket holder wins this evening's Euromillions draw they will scoop the biggest amount possible - €220 million or what would equate to around £184 million.

Described as 'the game with jackpots so enormous that you can see them from space' tonight's jackpot has reached its £184m cap after Friday's draw failed to find a winner for its £172m prize packet.

Having now reached the maximum number of roll overs, no further prize money can be added to the pot and a winner must be found from one of the next five Euromillions lottery draws.

If no one claims the whopping winnings this evening, the Euromillions jackpot will stay at this current amount for a further four events in the hope of finding a winner.

But it must be won by the fifth draw and so if no ticket by then has matched the required five numbers and two Lucky Stars, the money will be rolled down to the next prize tier where there should be at least one winner who is more likely to have five main numbers but just one Lucky Star.

This could result in the £184m jackpot being potentially split between a number of new multimillionaires if the next few events fail to find a winner with all seven winning numbers.

The Euromillions is played across nine countries and tonight's draw will take place at 8.45pm. All National Lottery events can be watched live online.

The previous largest UK prize was in 2019 when an anonymous ticket-holder won the £170m Euromillions jackpot.

Should a UK-based winner be sitting on tonight's seven lucky numbers they would become Britain's biggest ever winner and be able to count themselves richer than singer Adele, worth around £130m according to the Sunday Times Rich List, Coldplay's Chris Martin worth £125m and musician and former One Direction band member Harry Styles estimated to be worth £75m.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Wow, we could be looking at the nation’s biggest ever winner this Tuesday. This massive amount could not only change a winners’ life, but would make a huge difference to their friends, family and community.”

"My team have our fingers crossed for all UK players and are on standby to support our big winners every step of the way as they start their life changing journey."

Players are urged to get their tickets before 7.30pm this evening to be in with a chance of winning and tickets can be bought in shops, online or by downloading the National Lottery app.
