Caravan fire at Chatteris has crews battling blaze for more than an hour




Firefighters spent more than an hour putting out an accidental caravan fire.

Crews were sent to New Road in Chatteris at about 12.28am on Saturday, where they found the mobile home well alight.

Wearing breathing apparatus, they used hose reels to put out the blaze, remaining at the scene until about 2am.

The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
