Fire crews called to put out ‘accidental’ blaze in Chatteris




Fire crews took an hour to extinguish a blaze which happened on a town road yesterday.

The fire happened on Campole Drove in Chatteris at 10.19pm, one fire crew from the town was called to attend the scene.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish an out-of-control bonfire and returned to their station by 11.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
