Acting head gets top job at Long Sutton’s Peele Community College

Peele Community College in Long Sutton has appointed Elizabeth Smith as its new headteacher.

Miss Smith has been acting head at the Peele since Simon Gilman stepped down in September after holding the position for three years.

In a statement released this morning the Peele’s Board of Governors said: “It was a very strong field and Miss Smith shone through on all aspects of the

interview process.”

She will start the role immediately.
