Aldi’s grand opening of Fakenham store




Budget supermarket Aldi will be celebrating the opening of its new store in Fakenham with a big prize giveway next week.

The Norwich Road store will be welcoming customers from 8am on Thursday, October 15, and will be handing out golden tickets to the first 100 people in the queue, who could win a television, dvd players or tablets.

The 1,254sqm store has created 30 new jobs and will feature around 1,500 product lines.

Manager Nick Barnard said: “We want the new store to make a positive impact in the local community by providing greater shopping choice for the area and jobs for local people.”

To coincide with the store opening, Aldi will be donating 4,000 goody bags filled with treats to Pensthorpe Natural Park to support their ‘Trick or Tweet’ Halloween event, which runs from October 22.
