A busy charity shop is moving to a bigger and brighter location.

East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) charity shop in Downham is moving to a new location, after feeling that its current space was no longer suited to the size of the organisation.

The current shop on High Street will close on December 2, and will relocate to Wales Court from December 7.

Shop manager Trudi Betson said: “We needed to move and our new home is perfect. It’s looking fantastic already.

“It's on one level, as opposed to our current shop on three floors, and, from a display perspective, it's classy and stylish.”

Trudi has been in her role since July, ably supported by Sales Assistant Karen Collison and their team of volunteers.

Karen said: “It’s also very rewarding being part of something that helps so many children, young people and families.”
