Cambridgeshire residents have an exciting opportunity to decide which arts events will take place across the county’s libraries later this year.

People can help decide the line-up for The Library Presents - a vibrant and inclusive programme of arts activities which will include: music, theatre, art, dance, storytelling, comedy, puppetry and digital arts.

A selection of performances will be published online and in libraries from until March 22 for residents to make their choices. The events which are chosen will take place this summer and autumn at libraries that include Chatteris, March and Wisbech.

To have your say, you can either attend your local library, email thelibrarypresents@cambridgeshire.gov.uk or submit an online form at: https://www.library.live/the-library-presents

There is also the option to attend an online event where you can also give your verdict and discuss the options with other people who share an interest in the arts.

Councillor Tom Sanderson, chair of Cambridgeshire County Council's communities, social mobility and inclusion committee, said: “The Library Presents is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a wide range of different arts productions on our doorsteps.

“There are so many options to choose from and I would encourage anyone with an interest in the arts to either visit their local library or go online to explore what is on offer and make their selections before the deadline.”

Everyone will be welcome to attend the events which make the final shortlist, and they will be made accessible for people with different requirements.
