Police launch investigation in Wisbech following incident where BB gun was seized

Police have launched an investigation following an incident in Wisbech on Friday (3) evening.

Officers were called to the Coral betting shop in Market Place at about 10.35pm with reports of an incident, which had occurred at around 7.20pm that same evening.

A police spokesperson said: “An injured man had entered the shop to get away from a group of men following a previous incident.

“The man left a BB gun behind which was seized by officers.

“No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.

“Anyone with information should report it through the force website using reference 35/82565/23.

“Anyone without internet access should call 101.”
