Organisers are busy planning the 2023 Christmas Tree Festival at St Peter’s Church in March.

They are hoping that as many individuals, voluntary organisations, families, churches, schools, pre-schools, and businesses will join in the fun.

All you have to do is decorate a tree and display it in church for the public to view on December 8, 9, and 10 – there is no fee to take part.

It is great fun for the children and they can bring family and friends to see their creative work.

To take part you need to complete an entry form and return it by Tuesday, November 29. Entry forms can be obtained by emailing: stpsfestivals@outlook.com or from the church in High Street.

The festival ends on Sunday, December 10 after the church’s usual magical Christingle service with all the lit trees as a backdrop.

The proceeds from this event will help maintain and improve the fabric of the church.
