The years have added up for two accountants who have served Wisbech for more than four decades.
John Anker and Steve Fisher are celebrating 40 years with the Wisbech branch of Bulley Davey.
The pair both joined the firm in 1976 and later became managers in the 1980s. They are now both senior managers, who deal with a broad client base.
A special lunch was held at the office, which is based in The Crescent, to celebrate this milestone anniversary.
Mr Anker and Mr Fisher have seen many changes since first joining the firm – from using calculators and paper to voice-activated computers.
Mr Fisher said: “It has been a great 40 years at Bulley Davey, and I’m proud of how much we have achieved and how the company has grown since I joined.
“I don’t think there are many professions that have developed as rapidly and faced the challenges of technology like ours.
“I’m looking forward to the future with Bulley Davey and can’t wait to see what challenges we tackle next.
“Even after 40 years I still feel I am learning something new every day.”
Director Mitchell Burden has thanked the pair for their long service to the company.
He said: “We are so pleased to be celebrating the decades of dedicated service given to Bulley Davey by John and Steve. They have seen the company grow continually over the years, always adapting to, and embracing, change.”
