'Dogs should be allowed in Wisbech car park'

I am writing because on Sunday my partner was rudely evicted from the Horse Fair car park for having our little dog with him.

He was going into town and stopped to talk to a stall holder on the car boot sale that he knew.

The man running the boot sale was right in his face and told him to go – there is no sign up saying ‘no dogs allowed’.

His reason for this is because a dog may damage someone’s property that’s on the floor .

I have been all round town and could not find a sign.

It’s a public car park and should not be used as a boot sale – it’s an absolute disgrace as he is stopping people going into town on a Sunday when shops are crying out for customers.

I for one will not be going into town on a Sunday any more. I shall go to King’s Lynn instead where you are treated better.
