LEARN MOREThis year's annual Wisbech and District Historic Vehicle Club's annual road run saw 180 vehicles of all shapes and sizes join the fun.
Roger Salter, the club's chairman, said they were delighted with the turn-out for Sunday's run and said the weather put a few people off, but a few additional owners turned up on the day.
As usual the run started and finished in Somers Road car park at Wisbech, with the vehicles heading off to Peterborough via Long Sutton and Market Deeping and returning for the popular afternoon static show via Whittlesey, Coates and Wisbech St Mary.
One vehicle owner saw double triumph in the trophies. Mr M Page picked up the trophy for the oldest vehicle in the run - he was driving a 1930 Ford Model A - and he also was awarded the best pre-1960s classic car too.
Winners of the trophies were chosen by last year's victors and were presented by Robin Hotson, the estates manager for Elgood's Brewery who sponsor the club.
All money raised by the day will be given out to local charities including the air ambulance at the end of the year. It is hoped to at least equal last year's total of well over £1,000.
