Armed men threaten woman in Walton Highway burglary

Police are investigating a robbery which happened in Walton Highway, near Wisbech.

It happened last Friday (January 28) at about 2.35pm when two men entered a property on Lynn Road.

Both men had armed themselves.One with a metal gardening tool picked up from the garden while the took a meat cleaver from the kitchen and threatened a woman inside the property, before stealing items from the safe.

The suspects got away with more than £10,000 in cash, jewellery and passports.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.
