Wisbech driver charged with three offences after accident in the town

UPDATE: A man has been charged with driving offences after a collision in Wisbech yesterday (Saturday).

Following the accident in Grosvenor Road, a man from Wisbech has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of a collision, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.

The driver has been bailed to court at a later date

PREVIOUSLY: A 45-year-old man has been arrested after a road accident in Wisbech on Saturday afternoon.

He is accused of driving while unfit through drink or drugs and failing to stop at the scene of a collision

The arrest took place after neighbourhood officers attended a collision at 3.30pm and found the man nearby.
