Arrests after car is stopped by police in Chatteris

A driver and passenger have been arrested on suspicion of intending to supply drugs after police stopped a car in Chatteris.

A police spokesperson said: "This afternoon (Friday) officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team in March were on patrols in Chatteris when a vehicle came to their attention.

"The vehicle was stopped and was searched along with all occupants. A auantity of Class B drugs were found in the front of the car along with cash.

"Both driver and passenger were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B.

"They were taken to the King's Lynn police investigation centre."
