Athletes take on Insane Terrain course at Washbrook Farm in Doddington

Keen athletes tied up the laces on their running shoes at the weekend to take part in a rather messy obstacle course.

Held at Washbrook Farm in Doddington, the Insane Terrain course has come to the Fenland area and is also set up all over the UK.

Participants could take part in either a 5km or 10km race where they faced slippery slopes and obstacles to climb.

The aim of the event is also to have lots of fun along the way and is said to be suitable for all ages and abilities.

But there was one guarantee that you wouldn’t come out of the other end of the race as dry as you started it.
