A Wisbech man has appeared in court over the death of his car passenger in a crash at Castle Rising.
Andrew James Carter (30), of North Brink, is charged with causing the death of Craig Cooke by careless driving. He was at the wheel of an Audi A4 when the crash happened on Lynn Road in September 17, 2018.
Mr Cooke, 27, from King's Lynn died five days later on September 22, at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
Carter did not indicate a plea when he appeared before magistrates in King's Lynn on Thursday (23). The bench declined jurisdiction and the case will next be heard at Norwich Crown Court on February 20. Carter was released on unconditional bail.
