Body found in hunt for missing Huntingdon man

Police looking for missing man Gary Sanders have found a body in a secluded location believed to be that of the 43-year-old.

The discovery was made close to Sayers Street in Huntingdon yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, January 6).

Formal identification is yet to take place, however the body is believed to be that of Mr Sanders, who was reported missing to police on Christmas Eve.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out this afternoon (Thursday, January 7).
