Body found in Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen following reports of missing man in 60s from Wisbech area

A man has been confirmed dead following a large emergency services search yesterday.

Police were called to Magdalen High Road in Wiggenhall St Mary Magdalen at 2.34pm yesterday afternoon after a man in his 60s went missing from the Wisbech area.

Despite searches, officers have now confirmed that a body was discovered.

At the time, West Norfolk Police issued a statement warning people to stay away while officers dealt with the incident.

His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
