Wisbech boy in hospital with serious injuries after his bicycle in collision with a Range Rover




Police are appealing for information following a collision between a teenage cyclist and a car in Wisbech yesterday (Monday).

The incident happened at just before 5pm on a pelican crossing in Lynn Road, next to Kooreman Avenue.

The cyclist, a boy from Wisbech, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains, with serious but not life threatening injuries.

The driver of the car, a silver Range Rover, was uninjured and is assisting enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage of the moments leading up to it are urged to contact police either online, or via 101, quoting reference 308 of October 31.
