Britain in Bloom success for Wisbech

After their success in the Anglia in Bloom competition in September, where they won Gold in the large towns category, topping the group and being voted the best overall entry in the whole of the Anglia region, members of the Wisbech team ventured to Belfast to see how they fared in the Britain in Bloom finals, organized by the Royal Horticultural Society.

They were not disappointed, taking a Gold medal in the Business improvement district category for Towns and City centres and then going on to win the group. Here is a photo of Bob Ollier and Alan Wheeldon of Wisbech in Bloom receiving the award.
