Brothers due in court on gangmaster charges

Two brothers are due to appear in court accused of fraud and acting as unlicensed gangmasters.

Andrius and Stanislovas Dambrauskas will appear at King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court for a first appearance tomorrow (Thursday, September 17).

Andrius, 33, of Awdry Drive, Wisbech, and Stanislovas, 37, of Friday Bridge Road, Elm, are both charged with acting as unlicensed gangmasters and of committing fraud by abuse of position between January 1, 2012, and December 31, 2013.

The charges follow an investigation by police and the Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA) and comes on the back of the joint police/GLA inquiry Operation Endeavour.
