Fenland Business Awards: Build A Brand wins Business Innovation
There was genuine pride as the winner of the Business Innovation category stepped up to collect their award.
Gemma Alexander, managing director at Build A Brand, who was crowned winner in this category could not contain her delight or pride as she collected her award from James Boughen of sponsors Mapus-Smith Lemmon.
She said: “I am absolutely delighted, I am just so happy we have been able to help so many different clients and adapt with everything we have been doing.
“I am so proud of my team.
“I am so surprised, I really didn’t expect to win.”

The Business Innovation category was sponsored by Mapus-Smith Lemmon and the award was for an organisation that has demonstrated the ability to break new ground, with ideas and process that substantially improve the commercial prospects of the business.
There were three finalists in the running for this award: Build A Brand; Eastern Promise and The Secret Garden Touring Park.
In announcing the award winner, James said: “Having met with all three finalists this was a difficult decision. Ultimately the business’ relentless drive to innovate within their sector gave them the winning edge.
“In a constantly changing business landscape their increased success has been built on continued innovation.
