Busy Fen road closed due to crash

Police are warning drivers to find an alternative route this morning after an accident closed a busy Fenland road.
The A142 at Chatteris is closed in both directions from the B1098 New Road to Wenny Road.
Traffic is slow moving following the incident which was reported just before 7am.
A spokesperson for Fenland police said: "A142 at Chatteris, junction with B1098 road closed in both directions due to RTC. Please use alternate routes and allow extra time for your journey."
