Car fire in Newton

Firefighters were called to a car fire in a Fenland village.

The crew from Wisbech attended Fen Road in Newton at 12.44pm on Thursday.

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire. Wearing breathing apparatus, they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 1.55pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
