Learner driver in Chatteris has car seized

Officers from the March Neighbourhood Policing Team seized a vehicle after it failed to stop for them in Chatteris on Friday.

The learner driver was not supervised and was not displaying L plates.

Holding only a provisional licence invalidated the insurance policy on the vehicle.

A notice of intended prosecution has been issued to the owner for careless and inconsiderate driving, along with other traffic offences.
