Rose Lodge Care Home in Wisbech celebrates National Doughnut Week with sweet treats from Tesco on Cromwell Road

Residents and staff at a care home marked National Doughnut Week after a kind gesture from Tesco on Cromwell Road in Wisbech.

Tesco community champion Julie Bushby went to Rose Lodge Care Home in Wisbech laden with beautiful, sweet treats for everyone.

The home was also joined by financial planner Donna Powell from APS Legal and Associates, who was on hand to discuss financial planning, including wills, probate and power of attorney.

One of the residents at Rose Lodge said: “We have had a lovely afternoon with all these lovely cakes, my favourite is a custard doughnut, and then we were all talking about future plans.

“I think this is really important to do as it's not always what people want to talk about, but something they should talk about.”
