Marshland care home invites community to breakfast with fundraising on menu

Hickathrift House care home residents and visitors got their day off to a good start with a community charity breakfast to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The menu provided both hot and cold options and a delicious full English breakfast including all the bells and whistles like black pudding and plum tomatoes as well as an assortment of teas and coffees for anyone who turned up to show their support.

Staff at the Marshland St James home went the extra mile by dressing up as their favourite Disney characters and made the morning even more special.
