A care home worker has shown her dedication to residents’ well-being with an unusual fundraising challenge.
Pamela Mulqueen from Dove Court in Wisbech raised £400 by sitting in a paddling pool of baked beans while staff and residents looked on.
The money will be used to organise a special day out for those who live in the home.
Manager Nicole Thompson said: "Pamela is always full of beans.
“This fundraiser is just one example of how she goes above and beyond for our residents.
“The whole home got involved in cheering her on, and we’re all thrilled with the amount raised.
“Most importantly, the residents will have the final say on how the money is spent, which makes it even more special."
