Wisbech Castle is hosting a free festive event full of Christmas magic
Wisbech Castle is set to host a free family festive event with lots of Christmassy activities to be enjoyed.
It is being organised by the town council and will be held on Sunday, December 15 from 11am to 5.30pm.
There are no tickets in advance, it is a case of turning up and waiting for your turn.
The tour will take about 30 minutes to enjoy with four rooms specially decorated and offering surprises for all ages.
There will also be a chance to chat with Father Christmas who will be handing out sweets to visitors.
Cllr Steve Tierney, who has helped organise the event, said: “We don’t want to give too many details away, because we want it to be a magical surprise. We have based it on the Halloween event we did, which worked really well. If people turn up and there is a long queue they can always go away and come back – it is running all day so hopefully everyone will get a turn.”
