Charity needs befrienders in Fenland

A charity which helps isolated older people is appealing for volunteers.

Care Network Cambridgeshire hopes to recruit 10 volunteers in Fenland.

Help at Home volunteers offer short-term practical help and emotional support to people during difficult times such as illnesses or following a hospital stay.

Community Navigator volunteers research and provide information and help in the community, so that older people can access enjoyable activities or useful services which they otherwise wouldn’t have known about.
