Chemical leak causes road closure in Welney

Police have closed roads around Welney after a chemical leak

Police and firefighters were contacted around 9.20am to reports of chemicals from a sprayer leaking onto the road.

Road closures are being put in place at Silt Road, Horsehead Drove and the junction of Wisbech Road and New Road.

As a precautionary measure police are advising members of the public to avoid the area if possible while the incident is being dealt with.
