Manea Royal British Legion put together a fun family picnic last weekend
It was a day of fun and games at this Manea event last weekend.
After being put together by Manea Royal British Legion's entertainment committee, visitors were treated to the likes of Jenga, bowls and Connect Four.
Tony Wayman, chairman of the committee, said: "It was mainly a picnic.
"It was a fun day for people to come along, bring their own picnic and have fun. People brought games to play on the grass.
"It was good. We would have liked a few more people, but everyone that came said they really enjoyed it.
"We had some music playing too. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, it was pretty cold!
"The idea was great. The kids running around didn't seem to mind, but the adults were a bit cold. We'll do similar events next year, as it's getting to the end of the summer now."
